OCIA

OCIA stands for Order of Christian Initiation for Adults. The OCIA is intended for those who are not Catholic and who desire to enter into full communion with the Catholic Church. Through the course of the year, beginning in the fall and culminating in the Easter Vigil, OCIA participants attend weekly classes on the Catholic faith. COME AND SEE!

Are you or is someone you know interested in becoming Catholic?
There will be an informational ‘Come and See” gathering on Sunday, August 16th and Tuesday, August 18th from 6:30 - 7:30 pm at St. Patrick Hall.

Please join us one of these evenings to meet some of our OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation of Adults) team, learn more about the process and ask any questions.

Classes to prepare adults to receive the sacraments of Baptism, the Holy Eucharist and Confirmation will begin Tuesday, September 8th from 6:30 - 8:30 pm at St. Patrick Hall.  Those interested in learning more about the faith are also welcome.  If you have questions, please call the parish office, Greg Lechtenberg (815) 343-2559 or Julie Lechtenberg (815) 343-8524.
