Music Ministry

St. Brigid Parish’s music ministry is rapidly growing, and we would love for you to share your gifts with us! There are many avenues for you to contribute, whether it be in parish choir, as a cantor, an instrumentalist, or a singer for a schola project (gregorian chant). For more information regarding any of these programs, please contact our music director, Luke Acerra for more information.

- St. Brigid Choir -

Do you love to sing? Do you have a heart for worship? The St. Brigid choir will have a weekly rehearsal on Thursday nights. The choir will sing one mass per month and holiday Masses! The choir season runs from September through Pentecost. Now is the perfect time to get involved!

Choir Rehearsals time and place:

Thursdays at 6:30 PM to 7:30 pm - St. Columba Church

Whether you’re a seasoned singer or have little to no prior musical experience, we welcome you to be part of our choir family. Together, we’ll lift our voices in praise and prepare music that will bless our congregation and glorify God.

- St. Cecelia’s Children’s Choir -

Would you like your child to have an experience that grounds them in love for the beauty of the Church’s sacred music? Please consider enrolling them in St. Cecelia’s Children’s Choir. This program aims to provide foundational musical skills that will last a lifetime, in addition to orienting them in reverence and awe towards the sacred liturgy. The children’s choir will rehearse once a week on Wednesdays from 3:30 to 4:30 pm in St. Columba Church, and sing once a month at Mass and on feast days and special occasions. Please email Luke Acerra for more information.

- Men’s Schola -

St. Brigid Parish will begin to have men’s schola projects on an ad hoc basis. If you are interested in singing Gregorian chant, as well as deepening your faith and growing in fellowship with other Christian men, please reach out to Luke Acerra.
